VirtualBox 7.2.2 Maintenance Update Brings USB, Networking, and GUI Fixes
Quoting: VirtualBox 7.2.2 Maintenance Update Brings USB, Networking, and GUI Fixes —
VirtualBox, a popular open-source virtualization software, has just released its first maintenance update to the 7.2 series, version 7.2.2, designed to enhance stability and address several issues affecting users across various platforms.
On Windows ARM hosts, a bug preventing virtual machines from starting has been fixed. Linux hosts received several improvements, including resolving VBox Manager freezes at startup or when adding a VM, along with support for KVM APIs in kernel 6.16.0 and newer.
On macOS, internal networking issues and VM crashes on Arm-based systems have been corrected.

VirtualBox 7.2.2 Update Resolves TPM Emulation on Linux - OMG! Ubuntu
VirtualBox 7.2.2 fixes issues with virtual machines not starting on Windows on ARM (WoA) devices. WoA improvements headlined the initial 7.2 releases so ensuring virtualisation on Microsoft’s newest ARM laptops goes smoothly was needed.
Also addressed in this update is an issue with emulated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) not working in guests on Linux hosts, which isn’t ideal for those specifically needing to work with TPM-backed features or OSes (like a certain version of Windows, cough).
