A Win for Sharing
12 days ago I opened a complaint in defence of the nature (or wildlife) in Manchester [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7] despite being on holiday. I filed the complaint electronically. I've since there been told by several people that this was the right thing to do. As my informal friend Michael at the market put it, those birds are on his van because they used to have trees all over the place, but we took away the trees to make space for humans.
Thankfully there have been nothing but baffled responses to my complaint, which left the culprits unwilling or super-hesitant to contact me on this matter again. Put another way, they leave me alone. No more E-mail communications or any other efforts at becoming a nuisance.
Sharing is caring. Sharing food is a good thing. Denying people the right to share food should be the real issue.
If anyone tries to tell you that sharing is wrong, then push back. Don't give up. It's immoral to prevent people from sharing. █
