Tom's Hardware ☛ AMD RX Vega 64 runs Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at well over 30FPS in Linux with RADV driver
Thanks to Linux RT emulation, ray tracing is playable on pre-RDNA2-based AMD graphics cards. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been recorded running at well over 30 FPS on multiple older AMD graphics cards that don't natively support ray tracing.

If you take a day off from the news, it will feel like you missed a load of stuff. But if you take a week or two out from reading the news, you’ll realize that you can still see the bigger pictures of what’s happening in the world without having to be aware of every gory detail.

We don’t believe that piling on more layers is an acceptable solution. As engineers, we need to stop and ask ourselves: "should we keep adding to this tower of Babel?", or is it time to peel back some of these abstractions and reevaluate them? At some point, the right solution isn’t more complexity—it’s less.
While containerized solutions can work under certain conditions, we believe that shipping lean, native executables—without containers—provides a more seamless and integrated experience that better aligns with user expectations.
