Olimex has announced the availability of a fully featured Armbian / Debian 12 Bookworm image that supports all functionalities of the iMX8MP-SOM-4GB-IND. The only remaining issue is with the ES8388 audio codec, which is still being worked on.

Aside from this, all other peripherals, including USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, NVMe, eMMC flash, HDMI with audio, and CAN, are fully operational. The latest image can be downloaded from Olimex’s release page.
