COSMIC Alpha 7 Desktop Adds Pinned Workspaces, New Accessibility Features

COSMIC Alpha 7 is here to improve workspaces by allowing users to move them by clicking and dragging, reorder them on the current display, or move them across displays. It also introduces a new feature that lets you pin workspaces, which lets you have a persistent or fixed number of workspaces opened at all times.

Enlightenment 0.27.1 Desktop Is Out to Improve the CPUFreq and Battery Modules

Enlightenment 0.27.1 is the first point release in the Enlightenment 0.27 series improving the Battery module to limit charging to 100% and not over, adding the ability to use the mouse wheel on the Mixer module, and updating the client menu to no longer show the “Create Keyboard Shortcut” if the client has no desktop file associated.

Moreover, this release improves the Enlightenment file manager (EFM) to fix the shutting down of file monitoring when the file or directory is closed, adds support for reporting more information in the log for signal handlers, fixes a system tray/D-Bus menu memory access issue, and improves the CPUFreq module to fix some startup conditions.
