TrueNAS SCALE 24.10.2 Delivers Improved Stability and Enhanced Features
Quoting: TrueNAS SCALE 24.10.2 Delivers Improved Stability and Enhanced Features —
iXsystems released the second update in the TrueNAS SCALE 24.10 series, version 24.10.2, a robust Linux-based enterprise network-attached storage that bets on the ZFS filesystem and supports containerized applications and virtualization.
One of the most notable changes is the decision to no longer retrieve hidden zpool properties by default in py-libzfs, such as name, tname, maxblocksize, maxdnodesize, dedupditto, and dedupcached, which are now more securely managed.
For users who have migrated apps from 24.04 and experienced issues deleting them due to “dependent clones” errors, the update now introduces a Force Remove iXVolumes checkbox on app deletion.
