GNOME 47.2 Officially Released with Various Bug Fixes and Improvements
Coming one and a half months after GNOME 47.1, the GNOME 47.2 update is here to improve the accessibility of the keyboard backlight Quick Settings toggle, avoid CPU stalls on secondary NVIDIA GPUs with directly attached monitors, prefer GPUs with built-in panels connected as the primary GPU, ensure frame events are sent for cursor surfaces, and default to high thread instead of real-time priority for KMS threads.
Some Linux-specific changes in OBS Studio 31.0 include improved screensaver inhibit functions when installing OBS Studio as a Flatpak app, improved QSV encoder, disabled built-in Automatic Scene Switcher on Wayland, support for Display and Window Capture sources not to capture implicitly, a fix for a crash when importing a scene collection created on Windows, fixes for two potential crashes in the Window Capture source, and deprecation of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS support.

Gnome Fans Everywhere Rejoice for the Latest Re... » Linux Magazine
As we've all come to expect, it's a rare occasion that a point release introduces new features, and Gnome 47.2 is no exception. This latest release is all about fixing issues that have popped up over the weeks since 47.1 was made available.
Some of the notable fixes include touch screen drag and drop on Wayland as well as a few cursor issues that have appeared (particularly when using a virtual monitor); the accessibility of the keyboard backlight toggle; CPU stalls with NVIDIA GPUs that have directly-attached monitors; and a real-time priority default for KMS threads.
With partially-rounded buttons, there was an artifact issue occurring in the previous release, which has also been fixed. As well, there were issues with PackageKit and Snap apps that have been resolved, as well as a DuckDuckGo issue in the Epiphany browser that led to redirect failures and a problem when the browser attempted to load GlobalProtect URLs.
