(Updated) T-Deck Plus: An ESP32 Handheld Device with GPS and LoRa Support

At the core of the T-Deck Plus is the ESP32-S3FN16R8, a dual-core LX7 microprocessor that supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE connectivity. The device is equipped with 16MB of flash memory and 8MB of PSRAM. Additionally, the T-Deck Plus includes a Micro SD card slot, allowing for further expandable storage.

Fedora 42 to Port the Anaconda Installer to Wayland, Default to Anaconda WebUI

The Anaconda WebUI installer was initially planned for the Fedora Linux 39 release, but it was delayed as it needed more work. Now, the Fedora Project aims to ship it with next year’s Fedora Linux 42 release as the default installer for the flagship Fedora Workstation edition featuring the GNOME desktop environment.

Regardless if the Anaconda WebUI will make it into Fedora 42 or not, the Fedora Project also works on porting the current Anaconda graphical installer to Wayland. The Anaconda installer in Fedora Linux 41 is still an X11 application, even though most Fedora Linux flavors ship with Wayland by default.
