KDE Plasma 6.2.3 Brings Better Support for HDR Displays, Various Bug Fixes
KDE Plasma 6.2.3 is here two weeks after KDE Plasma 6.2.2 and promises to improve support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) displays by adding a workaround for a quirk that caused certain HDR-capable screens, such as the Acer XV275K P3, to leave the HDR mode whenever the user adjust any other display settings.
This release also improves the Spectacle screenshot utility to allow you to do a rectangular region screencast on any screen in a multi-monitor setup, as well as to fix a bug where Spectacle would fail to save MP4-formatted screen recordings.
