KDE Plasma 6.2.2 Is Out Now to Improve Compatibility with Specific Hardware
KDE Plasma 6.2.2 is here only a week after KDE Plasma 6.2.1 to fix a regression that prevented HDR (High Dynamic Range) from working properly in video games that needed certain brightness levels, like a billion nits of brightness, a regression that could cause the cursor to misbehave in certain video games, and an issue that caused visual distortion in the clipboard widget’s configuration window.
Shortly after the release of KDE Plasma 6.2.1 last week, the KDE devs pushed a small update, versioned 6.2.1.1, that fixed three regressions causing crashes on multi-GPU systems, splash screen sluggishness, and cursor shape misbehavior when hovering it over links in certain apps, as well as a performance regression affecting users using the Night Light feature with NVIDIA GPUs.
