NetBSD ☛ EuroBSDcon 2024 in Dublin, Ireland: some notes after the conference
I have not been at EuroBSDCon
for a while, unfortunately!
My last EuroBSDCon was EuroBSDcon 2017 in Paris,
France (and I have also blogged
about it)!
I was very excited to come back to EuroBSDCon. Meet again in person
with people. Talk in the "hall track"... and, why not!,
have some fun and do some shenanigans in the nights! :)
And... definitely it was very nice, instructive and fun!
I have not fully unpacked the bag but it's time to share some notes!

Ubuntu ☛ Build your private 5G network with Charmed Aether SD-Core
You might recall that we recently announced the beta release of Charmed Aether SD-Core, bringing automation to the 'Linux' Foundation’s open source 5G software-defined core (SD-Core) networking software. SD-Core is distributed by the Aether project and is for anyone who wants to build a private 5G network.

Boiling Steam ☛ TGS 2024: Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater
About 20 years ago, I remember distinctly watching of the final trailers for Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater at the ECTS in London. As I was there, eyes looking up, I realized there was someone familiar just next to me, eyes fixed at the screen as well. Someone Japanese. Yeah, it was Hideo Kojima, attending the show at the same time. After the trailer ended, we had a few words. After all, he was responsible for one of the best games ever made, Metal Gear Solid 1, and I had a huge respect for him.
