Linux Mint Devs Plan Revamped Application Launcher for the Cinnamon Desktop

First of all, Clement Lefebvre reminded users that the Linux Mint 22.x will not have an EDGE release because the upcoming Linux Mint 22.2 will be shipping with the HWE (Hardware Enablement) kernel from the upstream Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS (Noble Numbat) operating system, namely Linux kernel 6.11.

NetworkManager 1.52 Released with IPvlan Interface Support, ethtool FEC Mode

Coming five months after NetworkManager 1.50, the NetworkManager 1.52 release introduces IPvlan interface support, the ability to manually configure the authentication of LTE’s initial EPS Bearer, support for ethtool FEC (Forward Error Correction) mode, and support for automatically adding routes to DNS servers via the ipv4.routed-dns and ipv6.routed-dns properties.

T-Connect-Pro: An ESP32-S3 Based Industrial Communication Module

LILYGO recently introduced the T-Connect-Pro, a communication module built around the ESP32-S3-R8 microcontroller. It consists of three stacked circuit boards and integrates multiple interfaces, including CAN, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and LoRa. Designed for long-distance data transmission, the module includes a TFT LCD screen for configuration and monitoring.

Add EXISTS clause support in IVM (Takuma Hoshiai)

Correlated subqueries using EXISTS in WHERE clause are supported.
